Well today I went to pick up the daybed Cynthia is getting for her b-day. In Sachse. Wow, what a drive. Thank God for gps! I would have been so lost! GPS' were invented for people like me. Virtually no sense of direction! Thanks Amy! I bought it from a DAMer. Then got the new tires put on, the oil changed and an alignment. Overall a very productive day. It felt like I was gone forever! I was gone about 8 hours. Left around 11am and got back around 7pm.
How did I do it when I was working? I would be gone more like 10-12 hours a day! I am really glad I am able to stay home with the girls now. It would be torture if I had to be gone that long. I am very fortuate to have a hubby that understands that and wants me to stay home. I feel guilty about it sometimes. That he is out there working and I'm not. Then I remind myself that I am working too. Just around here. In some ways it is the most important job in the world. I am helping to raise two wonderful, compasstionate, caring girls. (I hope). I guess they are my gift to the world.
Diet-wise about even. Not too great, not too bad. Since I spent most of my day in the car, I mostly ate the snacks I brought with me. Went over a little because of the Whataburger and Sonic. Maybe I'll go for a walk tomorrow or shoot some hoops.

I would just like to thank everyone who was able to attend M's 1st birthday party! We had a lot of fun. M learned how to frown. She had cake and ice cream for the first time. Chocolate cake! She didn't really flinch too much from the coldness of the ice cream. She loved it!

She got tons of toys and loves them all! She loves the buttons to push and babies to cuddle and hammers to bang.
